Course Content:
Equipment knowledge (cams, nuts, slings, and specialized gear)
Building anchors with mobile protection (e.g., equalized anchors)
Simple placements, spike protection, and threads
Proper placement of cams and nuts
Half-rope technique
Lead climbing strategy
Practice routes with coaching
Requirements:
Confident lead climbing in a climbing gym and/or sport crag
Good physical condition (1.5h approach hike)
Multi-pitch climbing experience, including rappelling
Proficiency in belaying techniques for both multi-pitch and sport climbing
Minimum lead climbing level of 5c on rock
Course Location:
The course is expected to take place at Göscheneralp. We will stay at the beautiful Gasthaus Göscheneralp, and the accommodation will be reserved by us. You only need to inform us if you have any allergies or special dietary requirements.
If the weather conditions are unsuitable, we will move the course to a different location.

Important Infos
When will you decide if the course takes place due to the weather?
We need dry rock to run the course. We will update you 2–3 days before the course. If the weather forecast is unstable, we may have to make a last-minute decision.
What happens in bad weather, e.g., rain all day?
In case of bad weather, we will try to move the course to another location.
What if I can’t attend any of the alternative dates due to bad weather?
If none of the proposed reschedule dates work for you, you will receive a full refund. Please send us your IBAN, account name, and postal code/city via email.
Do I need my own cams, nuts, etc.?
If you have your own mobile protection gear, please bring it. If you can borrow some, even better! We will provide the rest.
